This dairy free ranch dressing changed my Whole30 experience forever. It goes good on anything and everything and is made with ingredients that are typically already in your cabinet. Whole30, Paleo, Gluten free, dairy free and sugar free... not many bottled salad dressing can confidently say that.
I am a huge sauce person and love dipping anything and everything in some kind of sauce. I was never a huge ranch person unless it was with some fries or over a side salad sometimes. However, now I put ranch on everything!
While this dressing has no dairy or sugar, it does have a ton of flavor! In the winter I used dried herbs, but in the summer I love growing my own herbs for this dressing. It makes the flavor even more fresh! It's perfect for a nice summer salad, game day dippers, or even over some buffalo chicken stuffed sweet potato. I promise it will even be a hit on a veggie tray at a party. Your friends and family won't go back to bottled ranch ever again!
Salad dressing is one of those most common places for hidden sugars, preservatives and other nasty ingredients. This is why I avoid buying most salad dressings unless I am in a pinch. It is SO easy to make your own salad dressings from home. All you need are a fat (oil), acid (lemon juice, vinegar, etc.) and lots of spices. If you are going to buy dressings, be REALLY careful of what is in them and sneaky ingredients.
