I am not a huge dessert lover, but I do love chocolate covered strawberries, however sometimes they can be a pain in the butt to make. This recipe is a super simple solution if you are in a hurry or just don't want to wait around for the chocolate to harden. These Easy Chocolate Covered Strawberries are only two ingredients, ready right away, and best of all... HEALTHY.

For this recipe I use Artisana Naturals Hazelnut Cacao Spread, which is similar to Nutella. If you know anything about Nutella, it has a ton of sugar and a TON of ingredients. Artisana's Hazelnut Cacao spread is made with coconut sugar and only has a few ingredients. It is key to this recipe and, honestly, tastes so much better.

Just dip dry strawberries into the hazelnut cacao spread and eat right away or put in the fridge for later! The reason you want to use dry strawberries is because the spread will not stick to the berries if there is any moisture!

Tips for Easy Chocolate Covered Strawberries:

    1. Warm the hazelnut cacao spread up either in the microwave or let it sit in some hot water. This makes it thinner so it is easier to dip.
    2. You can use any berries you like for this!
    3. The longer they are in the refrigerator, the firmer the chocolate will get. They can last up to 5 days in the fridge. Let's be honest though, they never actually last that long in my house because they get eaten much faster.

    • Wash and completely dry the strawberries (the chocolate hazelnut spread won't stick to them if there is any moisture.)
    • Dip the strawberries, one by one, into the chocolate hazelnut spread. Setting on a piece of parchment paper.
