Fajitas are one of the most simple meals that you can possibly make on any given day. All you need is some protein, onions, and peppers- plus some seasonings. However, if you really want to step your fajita game up, the key is to marinate your meat! This extra step not only adds flavor, but it will make your steak tender and juicy. This Steak Fajita Marinade recipe is only 10 ingredients and will have your whole family asking for more.
As you might know, I did not eat red meat for about 10 years of my life. I didn't like the texture, the smell... none of it. Lately, I have been getting back into it and it is because of recipes like this! I have needed recipes that add a ton of flavor and that are really tenderizing. It makes it so much more enjoyable to eat when it isn't chewy or when it has a nice flavor already in the meat.
Typically I like having my fajitas in a Siete tortilla, however sometimes I really just enjoy them over a bed of lettuce like this! If you are not on a Whole30, one of my favorite things to do is bake or air fry strips of a Siete tortilla and throw those on top of the salad.
Another tip I have for this recipe is to buy pre-cut fajita meat. This is such a time saver both in cooking and prep time! I buy mine from Greensbury Market and it comes in strips which makes it easy for marinading and then it cooks really fast, as well. As always, you can use the code ALTITUDE for 1-% off your first order.
