Servings 10 date balls

Ingredients

  • 10 pitted dates
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 2 tablespoon cacao powder
  • 1 tablespoon flaxseed
  • 2 tablespoon almond butter

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until combined- about 3 minutes. It should be a pasty texture, not grainy.
  • Use a baller (about an inch in diameter) to create the balls.
  • Refrigerate for an hour or until firm- of course you can always eat right away too! Keep refrigerated for up to a week.

Notes

  • Use any spices you like- pumpkin spice is a great addition (I think).
  • This recipe will make about 10 chocolate date balls, you can always double it for more!
  • Use any type of nut butter you like.
  • Sometimes these are a bit oily at first, but it should become less oily when refrigerated. This is made with all ingredients that have some natural oils :)
