Pat chicken wings completely dry. Then put in the air fryer. Spray with avocado oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook on 400° F degrees for about 10 minutes.
While wings are cooking, combine the rest of the ingredients in a small bowl and whisk together until smooth.
Once wings are cooked most of the way through (about 10 minutes), put them in a bowl and pour the wing sauce on top. Toss the wings until they are fully coated.
Place coated chicken wings back in the air fryer for 5-6 minutes.
Serve with dipping sauce and enjoy!
Notes
If you don't have JOI cashew base you can use cashew butter or your favorite mild flavored nut butter.
Patting your chicken wings dry before cooking helps get them crispy.
If you're using the oven or grill, follow the steps for cooking almost all the way through. Then, add more sauce and continue cooking until done.
