Ingredients

  • 16 Medjool Dates pitted
  • 8 slices Prosciutto

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cut each prosciutto slice in half length-wise. Wrap each date with one half slice of prosciutto and place on the foil.
  • Bake for about 15 minutes. This will depend on how large your dates are, so check at 10 minutes to be sure they are not burning. When the prosciutto is golden brown, they are finished.
  • Remove from oven and let them cool for about 10 minutes before serving or serve at room temperature. Enjoy!

Notes

  • These are technically Whole30 compatible, but if you are on a Whole30 round, I advise you save these for parties and such that you know there won't be other apps that you can eat.
  • I use Applegate prosciutto, but you can use any kind.
  • You can use any dates you like, but I prefer to buy ones that are already pitted to save time.
  • This recipe also goes really will if you want to stuff the dates with goat cheese, Kite Hill cream, or your favorite nut butter.
