Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Chicken Wings
  • Avocado Oil Spray
  • ¼ cup Spicy Cashew butter Dressing Trader Joe's
  • 2 tablespoon Cashew Butter

Instructions

  • Pat chicken wings completely dry. Then put in the air fryer and spray with avocado oil. Cook on 400 degrees for about 10 minutes.
  • While the wings are cooking, combine the rest of the ingredients (cashew butter and Spicy Cashew butter Dressing) into a small bowl and whisk together until smooth.
  • Once wings are cooked most of the way through (about 10 minutes), put them in a bowl and pour the wing sauce on top. Toss the wings until they are fully coated. Save extra sauce for dipping!
  • Place coated chicken wings back in the air fryer for 5-6 minutes.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • If you don't have Trader Joe's near you or don't have the Spicy Cashew butter Dressing on hand, you can use the same amount of cashew butter and add 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar, 1 tablespoon Sriracha, 2 tablespoon coconut aminos, and 1 teaspoon garlic powder.
  • If you are using the oven, broil the wings for a couple minutes at the end to crisp them up.
  • I really like Artisana Organics Cashew butter and Georgia Grinders Cashew butter, but any will do.
  • These wings are not Whole30 compatible because the Spicy Cashew butter Dressing has some maple syrup in it, but you can use the recipe above to create your own!
