Hazelnut Cacao Spread: Artisana Natural's hazelnut cacao spread is similar to the beloved Nutella, but instead of a laundry list of ingredients it only has a few and is refined sugar-free! It is tasty and made with real ingredients.

Strawberries: are packed with antioxidants like vitamin C and flavonoids that support heart health, improve immune function, and reduce inflammation. Additionally, their fiber content aids in digestion and contributes to a lower risk of chronic diseases.

Instructions

Heat Hazelnut Cacao Spread: Warm the Hazelnut Cacao Spread by microwaving for 30 seconds, stirring, and then microwaving for another 30 seconds.

Wash Strawberries: Wash and completely dry the strawberries (the chocolate hazelnut spread won't stick to them if there is any moisture.)

Dip Strawberries: Dip the strawberries, one by one, into the chocolate hazelnut spread. Setting on a piece of parchment paper.

Enjoy: Eat right away or refrigerate for an hour to solidify the chocolate hazelnut spread.

Recipe Tips and Tricks

Troubleshooting the hazelnut cacao spread: the thinner it is the easier it is to dip the strawberries into. I recommend letting the jar sit in hot water while you are dipping if your house runs cold.

Storage Tips

Refrigerator: The longer these dark chocolate-covered strawberries are in the refrigerator, the firmer the chocolate will get. They can last up to 5 days in the fridge. Let's be honest though, they never actually last that long in my house because they get eaten much faster.

Are strawberries dipped in chocolate healthy?

It depends on your definition of health and what ingredients you are using. These ingredients are not only delicious but also very nutritious. I would consider these dark chocolate-covered strawberries to be part of a healthy diet if eaten in moderation.

Why can't you refrigerate chocolate-covered strawberries?

Typical chocolate-covered strawberries will sweat if stored in the refrigerator. These ones, however will not. The hazelnut cacao spread is not a solid outer shell so it does not cause the berries to get soggy as quickly.

How soon should you eat chocolate-covered strawberries?

I recommend eating these vegan chocolate-covered strawberries within 5 days. They don't normally last that long in my house, but that is the max that you should keep them.
